Kathleen Turner Award-winning actress Kathleen Turner is to play the lead role in The Perfect Family, a new production from Certainty Films. The film will be the first  for Certainty, which was formed in 2009 by Director Anne Renton and Executive Producer Connie Cummings. Business and life partners Cora Olson and Jennifer Dubin (Present Pictures) are The Perfect Family producers.

Bones TV show star Emily Deschanel films The Perfect Family this summer while Bones is on hiatus. The film, an indie drama directed by Anne Renton, centers on a successful lesbian lawyer, played by Deschanel, whose traditional Catholic family is threatened by her entrance in a competition to find the perfect family. Kathleen Turner will play Deschanel's mother in the movie, and Jason Ritter has been cast as her brother.
